TurboNOx

TurboSonic Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Control Systems are Designed and Custom Manufactured to Meet Your Needs

The TurboNOx Advantage

TurboSonic NOx control systems feature patented, wear and plug-resistant Turbotak air-atomized nozzle technology for controlled drop size and spray coverage. High efficiency Turbotak injectors provide superior performance and range: up to 90-95% reaction efficiency and 60-80% removal efficiency.

The NOx Reduction Process

Selective Non-catalytic Reduction (SNCR) is a proven method for controlling cement kiln NOx emissions by injecting an ammonia or urea solution into the gas stream, where it reacts with nitrogen oxides to produce harmless by-products.

Ammonia reaction - optimal temperature 1600-2100ºF (870-1150ºC)
2NH3 + 2NO + ½ O2 → 2N2 + 3H2O

Urea reaction - optimal temperature around 1000ºC
CO(NH2)2 + 2NO + ½ O2 → 2 N2 + CO2 + 2H2O

TurboSonic Offers a Complete Equipment Scope of Supply for SNCR as well as Ammonia Feed and Injection Equipment for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Systems
