| SoniCool
provides
accurate temperature and humidity control to condition flue gases and
particulate. The SoniCool system enhances collection efficiency and
reliability of air pollution control systems. |
|
 |
Production can be
increased with lower gas temperatures which results in reduced gas
volumes.
SoniCool's nozzles
introduce a controlled amount of finely atomized liquid
into hot gas streams in order to reduce and/or control gas temperature.
The
SoniCool™ Advantage
Evaporative Gas
Cooling
Incinerator, kiln or
furnace exhaust gases are cooled from over
2,400°F
(1,315°C)
to as low as
240°F
(115°C) prior to
baghouse filtration–reducing the volume
of exhaust gas to be filtered and protecting
the baghouse. The water spray completely evaporates while absorbing
heat from the gases. As a result, there is no water
effluent to be treated. This dry operation also eliminates troublesome
deposits in ducts, towers, and hoppers.
Gas
Conditioning
Electrostatic
precipitators
(ESP) cannot properly collect dust particles with high resistivity
(glass, cement, etc.) unless humidity levels are optimized.
SoniCool 'conditions' the
particulate by raising humidity, enhancing the collection
efficiency of the ESP.
