February 12, 2008

TurboSonic Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board – TSTA), a global leader in the design and supply of industrial air pollution control technologies, today announced receipt of an order for a SonicKleen Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) from a US contractor valued at approximately US$1 million. This equipment uses proprietary technologies developed by TurboSonic to remove contaminants from industrial process exhaust streams, significantly reducing emissions from many industrial processes. The equipment is scheduled to ship during the summer of 2008.

Edward Spink, TurboSonic's CEO commented, “This is the latest in a series of orders from the Oil & Gas Industry for our WESP technology for sulfuric acid mist removal. We believe that the increasing demand for reduction of industrial air pollutants will both improve the environment and drive our growth over the long term. We are encouraged with the progress we have made in building our backlog, and with the release of previously delayed orders.”
