TurboSonic Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board –
TSTA), a leading provider of air pollution control technologies, today
announced receipt of US$1.1 million in new orders in the month of January
primarily from the Wood Products industry.
Edward Spink, TurboSonic's CEO commented, “Included
in this total is a
large order from a new major wood products customer. The “first of its kind”
equipment is for gas cleaning in conjunction with a biofilter and is expected
to be the first of several related orders. The equipment is scheduled to be
shipped during the current fiscal year. We believe that the delay in orders we
have experienced is nearing an end as Wood MACT EPA compliance deadlines
approach.”
