technologies, today announced the granting of two new US patents
related to the
company’s wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP) technology.
The
Company has been granted a
patent for a method for improved mist elimination, which is employed in
TurboSonic’s SonicKleen™ WESP systems and offered
as an upgrade to solve
operational problems in competitor’s WESP equipment. The
second patent recently
granted is for a process improvement in biomass dryer emissions
control. The
innovation reduces maintenance and fire hazards, and is employed
primarily in
the manufactured wood and biomass pelletizing industries.
