Commenting on the Company's results, Edward Spink, TurboSonic's Chairman
and CEO, said, "the decline in sales and earnings for the six month and
three month periods was primarily due to a delay in the placement of orders as a
result of the economic uncertainty in our target markets caused by the worldwide
recession. Product enquiries and proposals currently are at an all time high
level and bode well for the future; and we expect order placement to return to
more normal levels over the remainder of 2002."
