Court Ruling on U.S. EPA Plant Control Issue
Bodes Well for TurboSonic

March 13, 2000

TURBOSONIC TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (OTC Bulletin Board - TSTA). The recent U.S. federal Court of Appleals' decision upholding a controversial EPA regulation demonstrates the U.S. Government's commitment to the environment. The ruling requires 19 states to control interstate movement of contaminants from power generation facilities.

"This bodes well for our future opportunities", stated TurboSonic CEO Ed Spink, adding that "TurboSonic's investment in developing technology for emission controls from sources, including power plants, is paying off. We feel that this decision will have a positive impact on the environment and our business."

TurboSonic's system can control power plant emissions for less than 75% of the capital and operating costs of traditional technology, with by-products that can be sold at a profit and substantially reduce wastes going to landfills. This advanced technology for removal of particulate matter and for recovery of SO2 as a marketable byproduct is the new state-of-the-art for the air pollution control industry.
